Submission Guidelines:

We welcome all types of projects, from a photo series to a personal editorial project. However, your work must be unpublished and exclusive to Algae Magazine. 

• Writers: send us your best poetry, fiction, and/ or creative non-fiction (including essays, humor, satire, short screenplays and hybrid works). 

• Visual artists: send us art, Illustrations, and photography that are related to themes of sustainability, labor, or technology. 

Available Opportunities

• Staff Writers: To write articles, website content, etc. 

• Copy Editors: To fact-check and proofread editorial copy.

• Photographers: To contribute photography for editorials.
