Algae is an independent, sustainability-focused press dedicated to amplifying emerging voices in art, design, and writing. Our mission is rooted in accessibility, collaboration, and eco-conscious publishing. While our first three issues explored eco-punk fashion and sustainability, we are now expanding to include art books, artists’ projects, and experimental creative works that integrate ecology, technology, and social justice.
Our publication is open to all, but we are especially interested in writing and art from BIPOC creators, LGBTQIA+ creators, and those interested in exploring sustainability.
If you’re interested in sharing your art, or contributing at any capacity, please fill out our General Intake Form.
We welcome all types of projects, from a photo series to a personal editorial project. However, your work must be unpublished and exclusive to Algae Worlwide.
